Work Study is the process of subjecting work methods, processes and procedures
to systematic study in order to make it more effective and/or more efficient.
Work is selected for study on the basis of it being either an identified problem or an identified opportunity.
Originally designed for the analysis and improvement of repetitive manual work, analysis can also be
used for all types of activity at all levels of an organisation.
